•THE WALKING DEAD•
No it is not a post about zombies I particularly.
BUT about
YOUR FAITH.
☀️DON'T LOSE YOUR FAITH!
HEBREWS 11:1
" 11 Now faith is the realization of what is hoped for, the proof of things not seen. "
One of the reasons why I do honestly enjoy watching #TWD is because they do mention God and The Bible. See you see their faith tested in their current living circumstances/ living aka staying alive conditions.
As for this was an but of an example to show the Adolescence.
In Season 5, Episode 10
Where "Team Family" are at an incredible loss, with loved ones being killed, no food for day(s) and defiantly NO shelter or amo.
Things were being tested and question. Their faith had been "spend".
I had asked the kids what would you do in this situation? Especially if you know God.
•A few had said they wouldn't give up.
•Others said they would pray.
•A couple hesitated.
*1 or 2 were thinking logically.
In this episode there was one person who WASN'T looking at the problem but BELIEVING that God WILL Provide. Gabriel a priest who's faith did wane up and down through the series.
But here was firm and in knowing. He put everything into God's hands.
•They were w/o food
- someway somehow food became available (it was dogs honestly) lol
• They were with our water.
- It started to rain, then pour, then a storm soon became.
•They were w/o shelter
-One of them (Daryl) went off and ended up finding a barn!
After the storm, morning came. They all saw the damage of outside and came to realize the barn had not be damaged at all.
God is most certainly real, no doubt about it.
Soon after a man that had been watching them brought them to his community called Alexandria.
Where there was PLENTY of what was needed.
You see Gabriel wasn't looking at problem, but more keeping his eyes on the Solution. In which God did indeed provide in that time.
He trusted in Him
His faith stayed firm
And he continued to pray and believe.
God came through, he didn't give up. Gabriel knew.
Trust in the Lord. He will provide.
2 Corinthians 5:7 Indeed, our lives are guided by faith, not by sight.
